The Story

From Human Experience toCivilisational Infrastructure.

Twenty seven years helping people work within complex systems across resources, energy, finance and government. This is the experience behind my practice: understanding the situation, making decisions clearer and checking what changed.

The arc

A career spent making systems legible to the people who run them.

For twenty seven years I worked across enterprise design, digital transformation, and strategic leadership: in technology, finance, mining, utilities, government, and the emerging decentralized sectors. I operated across every layer of complex organisations, from engineers to executive leadership, translating shifting priorities into product roadmaps that people could actually run.

That work taught me where computational and economic systems stay fragile. So I built the instruments to measure meaningful change instead of asserting it. I founded Design Ledger and Time Foundation, and authored CTP/IP: the first cross-chain measurement layer for validated transformation.

Along the way I went back to study the parts the field kept missing. A post-graduate in Digital Finance and Blockchain at RMIT in 2023. A Graduate Diploma in Psychology at The Cairnmillar Institute in 2025, focused on behavioural science, neurobiology, and neuroscience, so that human-centred design and ethical AI alignment rest on how people actually think.

The progression

The work changed scale.
The responsibility changed with it.

What began with digital experiences became a practice in organisational change, operational systems and, ultimately, infrastructure for verifiable transformation.

1998–2008
01 · Human experience

Designing inside a global banking system.

Inside a global financial enterprise, I helped establish experience-design capability for digital banking across international markets. Interfaces were never isolated screens: they sat inside security, infrastructure, compliance and the everyday realities of the people using them.

2009–2016
02 · Institutional systems

Making complex services understandable.

Across government, finance and enterprise programs, the practice widened from product design to research, accessibility, service design and digital strategy, translating institutional complexity into services people could navigate and teams could deliver.

2015–2020
03 · Operational transformation

Taking design into the field.

Across enterprise consulting, resources technology and energy utilities, I worked with operational teams in geoscience, infrastructure and the digital workplace. The measure of design became practical: could an engineer act, could a field team decide, and could an organisation sustain the change?

2020–2023
04 · Decentralised systems

Moving from service flows to trust architecture.

Across SME product ventures, regional innovation programmes and independent practice, I connected strategic design with blockchain, ESG, startup development and decentralised coordination. The central question shifted from usability to verifiability.

2021–Now
05 · Protocol architecture

Making transformation measurable.

Time Foundation and CTP/IP bring the preceding work into one architecture: intention declared before action, transformation evaluated against evidence, and the result preserved as a record that can be independently read.

Patented Systems & Protocol Network

01 · FOUNDATION

Time Foundation

Causal time, made measurable. The public science the protocol stands on.

02 · SURFACE

Design Ledger

The measurement layer, made operable. Where validated cycles trade and Heritage is mapped.

03 · RUNTIME

Sealed Energy

Where each transformation is tested and settled into a Sealed Artifact, proven on chain. Permanent. Immutable. Non-reversible.

04 · CONSOLE

Polaris

The orchestration layer, made accountable. Where agents and instances run under one signature, never on their own authority.

Sectors

Different environments.
The same demand for clarity.

The practice was shaped where organisational intent meets operational consequence: from public services and financial systems to field operations and emerging networks.

Resources and Mining

Led strategic sustainability initiatives, integrating technology to refine extraction and processing practices across the mining lifecycle.

Finance and Banking

A decade of data-centre and banking experience, with fintech solutions that improved digital transactions and trust.

Government

Partnered with public sector agencies to deploy human-centred design for efficient and accessible public services.

Energy and Utilities

Connected customer services, corporate systems and operational infrastructure across electricity and utility transformation.

Technology, Media and Startups

Guided product strategy, market validation and innovation programs for technology ventures and emerging media businesses across APAC.

Decentralised Systems and ESG

Designed trust, coordination and reporting models spanning blockchain platforms, digital finance, ESG data and accountable autonomous systems.

Consumer and Service Platforms

Improved high-volume digital journeys across travel, retail, wagering and customer-service environments where clarity directly shapes trust.
